California Congresswoman Katie Porter's first six months in office

In January, Press Play's Michell Eloy followed two of California’s freshman Democrats during their first week as congresswomen: Katie Hill from Santa Clarita and Katie Porter from Irvine. Earlier this week, we checked in with Hill, and today we hear from Porter. Porter ousted longtime Republican incumbent Mimi Walters in a close midterm race that took more than a week to finalize. Porter is also one of the very first Democrats from a swing district to call for President Trump to be impeached.
