California Attorney General Xavier Becerra is suing Facebook. He wants them to turn over emails, documents, etc. related to an 18-month investigation into the company’s data protection and privacy practices. But the fact that the investigation exists at all is newsworthy.
Becerra’s been largely silent so far, even as other state attorneys general and federal and international investigators have been probing Facebook and other tech giants.
