    House Democrats are trying to head off President Trump’s efforts to block them from seeing some his bank records.

    House Democrats are trying to head off President Trump’s efforts to block them from seeing some his bank records. Two committees have formally told a federal court they need to intervene in a lawsuit that Trump and his children filed to stop Deutsche Bank and Capital One from cooperating with subpoenas.

    Also, California lawmakers have sent Governor Gavin Newsom a bill that would block presidential candidates from appearing on the state primary ballot unless they turned over five years of their tax returns. This is clearly aimed at President Trump.
