A new investigation into Donald Trump’s foreign interests found The Trump Organization has business ties that could create unprecedented conflicts of interest should he become president. Then, the Obama Administration has achieved its goal of accepting 10,000 Syrian refugees this year, but only 136 have resettled in the LA area. Why so few? Next, since a crash in May involving a Tesla Model S on autopilot left one man dead, Tesla has been working on a software fix to prevent that kind of an accident. Now Tesla says they’ve done it, and if true, it could make self-driving cars a lot safer. And finally, “Snowden” premieres this week and critic Matt Zoller Seitz has put out a coffee-table book on the film’s director, Oliver Stone. “The Oliver Stone Experience” is based on 100 hours of interviews, and it includes parts of Stone’s screenplays, personal photos and correspondence. Zoller Seitz tells Press Play how, after four decades making films, Oliver Stone still wants to “outrage people, wake them up.”
