Today, Governor Jerry Brown issued an executive order to drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions over the next 15 years. By 2030, the governor says, emissions must be 40% below where they were all the way back in 1990.

By 2030, the governor says, emissions must be 40% below where they were all the way back in 1990. Ironically, this comes the same day the American Lung Association ranked Southern California as having the country’s worst air pollution.
