L.A.'s Homeless Struggle With El Niño Storms

The homeless of Los Angeles are dealing with the second day of intense El Niño storms. Today, the storm is expected to dump up to 3 inches of rain on the city, and emergency officials are warning of flood danger. Also today, a county watchdog group released a report saying that plans to accommodate homeless people during this week’s storms have been “unconscionable and grossly inadequate.” City and county officials say they’ve made room in emergency shelters for up to 6,000 people.
