After their impressive World Cup win, will the women of US soccer get a more impressive bite out of the endorsement apple? And what else might it mean for women’s soccer stars and women’s soccer? Then, Greeks voted overwhelmingly yesterday not to accept the austerity measures imposed by their Eurozone creditors. What ripple effect might yesterday’s decision have…and could the unfolding Greek debt crisis even impact our economy? Next, our weekly TV roundup looks at Shark Week, and new and returning shows on Comedy Central. Then, how the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has become a political juggernaut for many corporate causes that go against the public good. What was once a low-key business advocacy group is now a massive lobbying organization with interests around the world. Finally, the Dalai Lama is in Anaheim as part of a three-day visit to the Global Compassion Summit. Tibetans are spiritually tied to the exiled leader - but are anxious about the future with an ascendant China.
