    New downtown LA rock show channels James Baldwin

    James Baldwin is having quite a moment. There’s the Oscar-nominated film I Am Not Your Negro. A new book is out that reflects on his seminal work, The Fire Next Time. And at the REDCAT theater downtown, Stew and Heidi Rodewald and their band The Negro Problem are performing a James Baldwin-inspired show, Notes of a Native Song.
