    New Hepatitis C Treatment

    It’s estimated that three to four million Americans are infected with the Hepatitis C virus. And because it’s a slow-moving disease, most of those people don’t even know they’re infected. Most people who have the disease will never suffer serious medical problems. But for the twenty percent that do, the disease can be deadly.

    It’s estimated that three to four million Americans are infected with the Hepatitis C virus. And because it’s a slow-moving disease, most of those people don’t even know they’re infected. Most people who have the disease will never suffer serious medical problems. But for the twenty percent that do, the disease can be deadly. Until now, there has been no good medical answer to Hepatitis C. But last November, a new miracle drug, Sovaldi, was approved. The problem is, it costs one thousand dollars a pill, about 84 thousand dollars for a full regimen.
