Richard Turner is one of the greatest “card mechanics” in the world. Luke Korem, who’s made the documentary “Dealt” about Turner, says he’s the greatest ever.

A card mechanic is a card cheat. Though he used to earn lots of money cheating in high-stakes card games, Turner now calls himself “an entertainer,” and he performs his sleight-of-hand feats to audiences all over the world.

While watching Turner, what many people don’t realize — and can’t quite believe — is that he is blind.

Turner and Korem visited KCRW to talk with Press Play, and Turner gave host Madeleine Brand a private demonstration:
