Video games have been an escape for many during quarantine, and this week, two competing companies released new consoles.

Sony released the Playstation 5 on Thursday, and Microsoft put its latest iteration of the Xbox on store shelves on Tuesday. The release marks a seven year drought since either company brought new hardware to market.
