Los Angeles is one of three U.S. cities piloting a federal program to keep U.S. residents from joining militant extremist groups like ISIS. We talk to a former jihadist about his work trying to stop the radicalization of young people.
As U.S. military strikes against extremists continue in Syria, the White House announced Los Angeles is one of three U.S. cities where the administration is starting a program to deter citizens from joining the militant group that calls itself the Islamic State. And the founder of Surfer magazine looks back on 60 years of riding California waves.
