President Obama’s plan to forbid organizations that receive tax dollars from discriminating against gays and lesbians is getting the thumbs down from some of his religious allies, and now six major gay rights groups are withdrawing support from the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. That’s a bill stuck in Congress that would ban companies from discriminating against gay or lesbian employees. That bill has a religious exemption clause.
