    Shrimp Slavery

    For seafood lovers with a conscience, the news out of Southeast Asia lately has been alarming. Last week, the Associated Press came out with yet another report on slavery in the region, this one focused on Thailand’s shrimp sheds, which use slave labor to peel the shrimp that wind up on the shelves of global supermarkets and restaurants.
