The State of LA’s Ports

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders held a rally Friday morning at the Los Angeles Maritime Museum at the Port of Los Angeles. Sanders aims to gain the support of Harbor Area labor unions. The ports of LA and Long Beach are a big source of blue-collar union jobs in Southern California, but in recent years, the ports have been plagued by labor disputes, growing competition and other challenges.
