President Trump tweeted on Sunday that the question he received most at the G7 meeting was: “Mr. President, why does the American media hate your Country so much? Why are they rooting for it to fail?” It’s no secret that Trump dislikes the media. In the past, he has called news outlets "the enemy of the American people.”

Now a group of Trump allies is going after journalists directly. The New York Times reports that a network of operatives has archived embarrassing social media posts that hundreds of journalists made, and they threaten to publish those posts if they think coverage of the Trump administration is unfair.
