Donald Trump is benefitting from anxiety over terrorism, according to polls. And some Republicans are so concerned about his lead, they’re considering a brokered convention next July.

Turning to local politics, we talk to L.A. City Attorney Mike Feuer about the possibility of the city seizing foreclosed, dilapidated homes.

Then, U2’s The Edge just won approval to build five homes on a Malibu cliffside. What changed from his previously rejected plans?

In our Friday film segment, The Big Short, Legend and more.

And finally, Madeleine goes into the field to tell the saga of the Triforium, L.A.’s most misunderstood piece of public art.

But he had trouble clearing regulatory and environmental hurdles. This week, however, he finally prevailed.

The Comeback of L.A.'s Most Misunderstood Artwork: The Triforium

The Triforium is a giant, psychedelic sculpture downtown, across the street from city hall. When it was unveiled 40 years ago today, its artist thought it would become the Eiffel Tower of Los Angeles, an iconic symbol of the city. Instead, it was ridiculed and allowed to fall into disrepair. But now there’s a plan to bring it back.
