At the Conservative Political Action Conference today, Texas Gov. Rick Perry once again criticized blue states, like California, for being high tax and regulation. He says Texas is the business-friendly job-creating state. Is he right? We also look at Daylight Saving. What’s the argument for springing forward and falling back? We talk about TV -- Is there a lack of good roles for women in TV dramas? -- and the movies, post-Oscars. And we finish with a look at votes in the Senate yesterday on bills to protect victims of sexual assault in the military.

      Sexual Assault in the Military

The U.S. Senate voted yesterday to offer more protections to soldiers who say they were sexually assaulted in the military. But the vote was seen as a big defeat by victims rights advocates. They were supporting a much stronger bill, put forward by Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, which failed by five votes.
