Venezuelan streets are teeming with protesters, and government forces are violently cracking-down on them across the country. At least 8 people have died so far. But the situation has been mostly overshadowed in the U.S. media by the violence in Ukraine. Part of that is due to the government’s suppression of journalists in Venezuela.
