    What we know about the GOP baseball shooting

    Wednesday morning’s shooting at a baseball practice for Republican Congress members left House Whip Steve Scalise and four others wounded. The shooter, 66-year-old James Hodgkinson, was killed by police. Hodgkinson was from Belleville, Illinois. He volunteered for Bernie Sanders and was outspoken on social media and in letters to his local paper.

    Wednesday morning’s shooting at a baseball practice for Republican Congress members left House Whip Steve Scalise and four others wounded. The shooter, 66-year-old James Hodgkinson, was killed by police. Hodgkinson was from Belleville, Illinois. He volunteered for Bernie Sanders and was outspoken on social media and in letters to his local paper. He also had run-ins with the law, domestic violence, guns.
