In the last week, drivers killed four other people on the streets of South LA. Mayor Eric Garcetti says he wants to eliminate all traffic deaths by 2025, calling the plan Vision Zero. But since he unveiled that plan three years ago, pedestrian and cyclist deaths have soared.
