No host, no problem. Should the Oscars go hostless again?

For a show without a host, things went off without a hitch. The Oscars this year got strong reviews and even a slight ratings boost.

For all the many fumbles along the way, the Academy managed to pull it together for the Oscars telecast. In a lot of ways they lucked out--there were some historic wins, plus that memorable "Shallow" performance. So before going hostless again, perhaps they consider finding a host for the future, but maybe someone who is more low key than past hosts who have made the show all about them. And what can the TV Academy learn from the Oscars for this year's Emmys? Keep the focus on the show, and let the ratings fall where they may.
