Jamey Perry loves the gasps of surprise she hears when dropping into the snake run at Venice Skate Park on her wheelchair. Over the last couple of years, a nerve disease has limited her ability to walk, but clearly not her ability to laugh and play and enjoy her life. The 2016 WCMX women's champion, Jamey works out at skate parks around the city with her friend and de facto "coach", Katherine Beattie, who is the only woman to have successfully landed a full backflip on a wheelchair.
