KCRW presents writings by U.S. troops and their families, who recorded their reflections on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq for Operation Homecoming, a National Endowment for the Arts project. The project resulted in a book and a boxed CD set of readings. This program was created from those CD's as a special for KCRW’s The Politics of Culture, and we present this encore broadcast in honor of the holiday and veterans of all wars.

This half-hour program will pre-empt Which Way, LA?
