Conductor Charles Hazlewood talks about the role of trust between conductor and orchestra, which he describes as a "miracle." Management theorist Simon Sinek says trust starts with a leader who makes people feel safe. Former Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, who says politicians like him have lost the trust of their citizens, imagines a European democracy without borders. Rachel Botsman, founder of The Collaborative Lab, calls trust the "currency of the new economy." And psychotherapist Esther Perel calls trust the secret to desire in a long-term relationship.
