Inspired by the pandemic era story of the movie Eddington, I wanted to focus the music mix on another part of the pandemic, which was also a time of silence, reflection, mindfulness and meditation. I’m starting the mix with a piece by the Eno brothers, Brian and Roger, from their pandemic era record Mixing Colours. Throughout the rest of the mix, I try to carry that feeling of quiet time at the house, finally ending with a “field recording” from the Environment series.
