Nominations for the 2020 Emmys have been released, and the field is wider than ever, with up to eight nominations in the comedy and drama categories.

HBO’s “Watchmen” tops the list with 26 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.

Previous Emmy favorites also raked in nominations, including the 2018 winner for Outstanding Comedy Series, Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino netted 20 nominations overall.

Netflix earned more nominations than any network in history: 160. Netflix’s “Ozark” earned 18 nominations, the most of any show on the network. “Stranger Things” was also nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

HBO followed Netflix with the second-most nominations, including “Succession,” which earned 18 nominations, and “Watchmen.”

The Business re-airs Kim Masters’s interview with “Watchmen” creator Damon Lindelof from last fall.
