    Oscar-winning writer Diablo Cody (Juno, Young Adult) has made her directorial debut, Paradise. She speaks openly about how she was glad to have tried her hand at directing but that she won’t do it again. She’d rather be the “Robin” to the director’s “Batman” and not be the one in charge.

    Oscar-winning writer Diablo Cody (Juno, Young Adult) has made her directorial debut, Paradise. She speaks openly about how she was glad to have tried her hand at directing but that she won’t do it again. She’d rather be the “Robin” to the director’s “Batman” and not be the one in charge. Also, as a mother, she found it nearly impossible to balance mothering and directing. Cody also reads—and elaborates on—her list of tips for top screenwriters that recently appeared in vulture.com.
