Anita Hill and Nina Shaw on the Hollywood Commission

The Hollywood Commission was founded in the aftermath of the Harvey Weinstein scandal — to tackle inappropriate conduct in an industry with lots of high-profile cases. Anita Hill chairs the group. Its first report shows that most respondents of a survey do not believe people in power will be held accountable for bad behavior.

Next year, the organization will launch a system for entertainment industry workers to report abuse and harassment in the workplace. The details of the platform are still under development, although the Hollywood Commission says that it will work with partners across the industry, including studios and guilds.
