    TV Guide magazine chief content officer Michael Schneider joins Kim Masters to discuss top entertainment news stories of the week.

    • Late in the year and still lacking a frontrunner, it continues to be a strange awards season. Two sets of recently announced nominations , the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes, don't do much to shed light on where the Oscars might be headed.

    • On the TV side, digital and subscription-based services were the big winner at the Golden Globes nominations. The comedy category in particular, is made up entirely of digital or cable shows.
