Making the Oscar-nominated Documentary Searching for Sugar Man

The documentary Searching for Sugar Man is a Cinderella Story and so is the tale of making the film. After premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012 in what the filmmaker considered a less the complete state-- it had rudimentary animation and footage shot on an iphone-- the film has won 19 awards and is nominated for an Oscar and BAFTA.
