Adam Carolla: Road Hard
Adam Carolla on taking a common sense approach to comedy in his co-directing debut, Road Hard.

"Someone flipped a switch, and it just stopped," he says. The only way he could support his family was by hitting the road, which is "kind of fun when you're 27," he says, "but it's not so fun when you're 45." That experience of going back out on tour was the inspiration for his new film Road Hard, which he co-wrote and co-directed with Kevin Hench. It's a story about going backwards in life. He talks about why directing is "a little bit overrated." Plus, his secret to never getting writer's block.
