    NOTE: Contains explicit language

Actor Bruce Dern has been working steadily in film and television for over 50 years. A member of the Actors Studio in New York, where he studied under Elia Kazan, Dern went on to work with Alfred Hitchcock in the 60s, and got his first Oscar nomination in 1979 for Hal Ashby's Coming Home. Now, he's nominated again, for a career-marking turn as Woody Grant in Alexander Payne's Nebraska. He talks about how he got the role after ten years of trying (and after Gene Hackman passed). Plus, his thoughts on Cannes, the Kardashians, and 'the opera of life.'
