Elvis Mitchell sits down with director David Cronenberg at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills to discuss his new film, A Dangerous Method, in limited release November 23 from Sony Pictures Classics.

David Cronenberg, a romantic? He may have made a name for himself as the "King of Venereal Horror," but his newest film as director is an explosion of light during a highly enlightened time: a utopian Vienna just before the encroaching darkness of World War I. The movie centers around the complicated and conflicted relationships between Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and patient Sabina Spielrein as they navigate the uncharted waters of psychoanalysis.
