Kasi Lemmons

Seventies DJ Ralph "Petey" Greene was an old-school rapper with a truth-telling style. Don Cheadle brings him to life in the film Talk to Me. The director, Kasi Lemmons (Eve's Bayou), drops by to put the spotlight on radio on film.

The film also features Chiwetel Ejiofor as Greene's producer and Martin Sheen as the owner of the radio station, as well as a great soundtrack featuring Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, James Brown and an original score by Terence Blanchard.
