Chilean director Sebastián Lelio has a history of exploring strong female characters in his films. 2017's "A Fantastic Woman" won him the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film while highlighting the life of a young trans woman living in Santiago, Chile. He continues in this same vein with an American remake of his 2013 Chilean film"Gloria Bell", this time starring Julianne Moore as a divorcee navigating life and love through dance. Today on The Treatment, Lelio shares his experience working with Moore as well as the pivotal role pop music plays in the film.
