With 70% of the population under 25, rap music is being used to encourage young people to turn out for next months' voting. Artists like Edris Bayan, rapping in Pashto about how voting is a "peace flag" and that you can be a "sword," are encouraging young people to take part in a musical contest, with the ultimate goal of increasing the turnout for next months' presidential elections.
