    And Then the Saw Got Stuck

    BP is no longer trying to stop the gusher of oil in the Gulf of Mexico, but today efforts to contain it ran into trouble. Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen, the President's point man on the scene, said that despite a successful initial cut to free the riser pipe, the saw blade had gotten stuck while attempting a second cut.
