Big Three Submit Plans to Congress in Second Attempt at Rescue
The Ford Motor Company will increase the fuel efficiency of its cars, get rid of its private jet planes and pay its chief executive a dollar a year, if it gets its $9 billion share of the $25 billion the Big Three are asking from Congress. Ford was first out of the box today with plans to be presented in greater detail later this week.
