Democrats in the Senate are asking questions about the forced resignations of six other prosecutors, including Carol Lam in San Diego, California, whose work led to former Republican Congressman Randy Cunningham's imprisonment for conspiracy and tax evasion. On Tuesday, Lam secured two grand jury indictments--against a businessman with ties to Republican politicians and the former number-three officer in the CIA. Laurie Levenson, former US Attorney in Los Angeles, is now Professor of Law at Loyola Law School.
