Disney to Buy Lucasfilm…and Make More Star Wars Movies

Twentieth Century Fox got a big surprise yesterday when Walt Disney bought Lucasfilm , including the Star Wars franchise. Fox, which has released all the Star Wars films since 1977, wasn’t even offered a chance to bid. Lucasfilm is more than just Star Wars, and Walt Disney is generations beyond Mickey Mouse.

Twentieth Century Fox got a big surprise yesterday when Walt Disney bought Lucasfilm, including the Star Wars franchise. Fox, which has released all the Star Wars films since 1977, wasn’t even offered a chance to bid. Lucasfilm is more than just Star Wars, and Walt Disney is generations beyond Mickey Mouse.
