FDA Issues Sweeping, New Rules on E-Cigarettes

Yesterday, California set a new smoking age limit of 21. Today, the federal Food and Drug Administration imposed new regulations on tobacco products — for the first time including e-cigarettes – that will prohibit retail sale of e-cigarette's, cigars or other tobacco products to anyone under the age of 18. Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell told reporters, "We are protecting our children and teenagers and are helping adults get the information they need to make informed decisions about tobacco and nicotine use."
