    It’s time to talk about climate change

    The challenge of climate change can seem overwhelming--especially with the Trump administration dropping the ball. But cities have opportunities to make change.

    We don’t have to wait out the Trump administration to address the issue of climate change. Cities are a major cause of the problem, and more than 100 are working together to decrease emissions around the world. Individuals can lower the level of methane and eat a healthier diet at the same time. Research shows it’s also important to start talking about climate change with friends, families and others. Some 70% of Americans agree it’s really happening, so there’s no reason to shy away from a “controversial subject.” Recognizing that fact will help build a consensus for action.
