With the President just pulling away from today's 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon, CNN broadcast a report that the Coast Guard had fired ten times at a boat in the Potomac River. The cable network also showed pictures of Coast Guard boats speeding around in the water.

The cable network also showed pictures of Coast Guard boats speeding around in the water. A few moments later, CNN and others reported that no shots were fired.
