It wasn’t the first time that Obama has decided to go it alone. He’s taken executive action on a number of policies and issues, from gun control to climate change to the prisoner swap for Bowe Bergdahl. Republicans are fed up. They say Obama is acting like a “tyrant” and a “king.” And House Speaker John Boehner has come up with a plan: Sue the President. Does the Boehner camp have a leg to stand on? Is the speaker making an end-run around the far right’s call for impeachment proceedings?
Also, a suspect in the 2012 attack on the US consulate in Benghazi is set to remain in custody without bail. Plus, there’s a lot of plastic trash in the ocean, so why suddenly can’t scientists find it?
