Revising Psychiatry's 'Bible' of Disorders
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is the go-to "bible" for psychiatrists in diagnosing disorders. A fifth revision is underway now, with new terms, "intellectual disability" instead of "mental retardation." There are also new categories for disorders and new "behavioral" addictions.
