To the Point

Russia's ambassador to Turkey assassinated in Ankara

Today a gunman armed with a pistol shot and killed Russia's ambassador to Turkey at an art gallery in the Turkish capital of Ankara as he was addressing a crowd of journalists. Russia's Foreign Ministry is calling the killings a terrorist attack. This comes at a time of protests in Turkey over Russia's involvement in the war in Syria.
