Senator Ted Stevens Indicted

The longest-serving Republican in the US Senate has been indicted on seven criminal charges. He's Alaska's Ted Stevens, accused of falsely reporting hundreds of thousands of dollars in services for home renovation. The Justice Department says he took approximately $250,000 from the VECO Corporation and misled investigators who were looking into his relationship with that firm.
