Syria: Where civilians are facing war without end

The subject didn't come up in this week's first encounter between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, but the nation of Syria is turning to rubble. Secretary of State John Kerry hoped that a week-long ceasefire deal with Russia might be extended toward ending almost six years of civil war in Syria. But the fighting hardly stopped after all, and now the siege of Aleppo is more intense than ever. The US, Britain, France and Secretary General Ban Ki-moon have accused the Assad regime and its Russian ally of committing war crimes. We hear the voices of boys in Aleppo playing in water-filed craters created by barrel bombs that have killed their friends and family, and talk with the doctor's wife who filmed that scene. We also hear from a peace activist who's met with Bashar al-Assad, along with other observers.
