    Last night, Texas Senator Ted Cruz outraged Trump supporters with a convention speech that congratulated Donald Trump for winning the Republican nomination but failed to endorse the presidential nominee. Today, Cruz doubled down — explaining why he broke a promise made during the primary campaign.
